This course focuses on the various aspects of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth from the dead. Not only are the activities of Jesus discussed, but the effects of his capture, His crucifixion, and His resurrection had on His disciples and the apostles and how it propels them to success, even among persecution is a major focus of this course. This is an eye-opening experience for Christians of every level of experience.

Students will not only have a experiential understanding of this event, but they will exhibit a working knowlege of its foreshadowing and fulfillment in the Book of Revelations.
This lesson discusses the concept of triumph in relation to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It begins by providing a brief history of the tradition of a triumphal entry, in which a conquering hero would enter a city in a parade to display their victory and spoils. The lesson then shifts to the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, which is described in detail using the parallel gospels. From every perspective, Jesus is seen as entering triumphantly because he has won against the Sanhedrin, the teachers of the law, and the Roman authorities. The lesson then delves into the foundation of faith, discussing the role of hope, belief, trust, and choice in building and strengthening faith. It emphasizes that faith is not a passive belief, but rather an active force that needs to be exercised and tested. The concept of seeing not being believing, but rather believing is seeing, is also explored. Signs and wonders are discussed as indicators of spiritual truth that appeal to our human senses, but remain a mystery to the unbeliever. The lesson then shifts to the topic of communion, which is described as the fire of the Christian faith. The benefits of taking communion daily are highlighted, and it is emphasized that it is a command from Jesus himself.
In this lesson, we learn about the concept of mystery in relation to God and His creation. It is explained that God often obscures truths from His creation in order to protect them from knowing the full truth in their fallen state. The Law of Moses is summarized as "righteousness by self" and it is mentioned that there were over 600 commandments that classified humanity into three states: unclean, clean, and holy. It is also noted that under the Law, only unintentional sin was forgivable and intentional sin was unforgivable. The importance of mystery is further emphasized as a means of protecting humanity from becoming irredeemable. It is explained that prophecies were often obscured in mystery in order to only be understood by those who were "enlightened" and could grasp the concepts. The lesson also delves into the concept of hope, which is described as a wish that can lead to belief and eventually trust. Faith is also discussed as being strengthened through exercise and testing. It is noted that believing is seeing, rather than the other way around. Moving on to the events of the resurrection of Jesus, the lesson focuses on the foundational aspects of faith. It is mentioned that God is the Eternal Creator and exists in three persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and The Holy Spirit.
This lesson discusses the importance of self-examination and prayer in preparing for the ordinance of communion. It also touches on the integral parts of sanctification, which include repentance and forgiveness of sins. The context for this lesson is taken from the Bible, specifically the book of Luke, where Jesus appears to his disciples after his resurrection. During this encounter, Jesus explains to his disciples the fulfillment of prophecies and the importance of repentance and forgiveness of sins. The lesson then delves into the concept of the Law of Opposites, where good is defined as the opposite of evil. It also introduces the Law of Free Agency, which demands a choice and the presence of the Law of Justice. The lesson also touches on the role of Satan and his demons in possessing the material world. Finally, the lesson discusses the Plan of Salvation and the role of Jesus as our example and advocate to the Father through the Holy Spirit. Overall, this lesson emphasizes the importance of understanding and following God's Word as the standard for our lives as Christians.
The Parable of the Talents is a story told by Jesus in the book of Matthew in the Bible. In this parable, a man goes on a journey and entrusts his wealth to three of his servants. He gives five bags of gold to one servant, two bags to another, and one bag to the last servant, each according to their ability. The first two servants immediately put their money to work and double their master's wealth, while the third servant buries his money in the ground out of fear. After a long time, the master returns and settles accounts with his servants. The first two servants are praised and rewarded for their faithfulness, while the third servant is scolded and punished for his laziness and fear. The master takes the one bag of gold from the third servant and gives it to the servant who had ten bags. This parable teaches us about the importance of using our talents and abilities to serve God and others, and the consequences of not doing so. It also highlights the principle of "to whom much is given, much is expected," and the idea that God will reward those who are faithful with even more blessings.
his sermon notes series is about the significance of the empty cross and tomb in the Christian faith, particularly during the celebration of Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday. It highlights the parallels between the Passover and the Resurrection, with Moses and Jesus both being seen as deliverers of their people from oppression and slavery. The sermon also touches on the concept of mystery in the Christian faith and how it is used to protect humanity from becoming irredeemable. The Law of Opposites and the Law of Free Agency are also discussed, along with the role of Jesus as our example and advocate to God. Ultimately, the sermon emphasizes the importance of the Resurrection as the ultimate fulfillment of the Plan of Salvation and the promise of eternal life for believers.
